HFB, a full‑service BIM and construction technology firm in Amsterdam, faced the challenge of moving from traditional workflows to cloud‑based virtual construction while overcoming legislative, process and cultural resistance. To support more complex designs and better team coordination, HFB adopted Autodesk BIM 360—using BIM 360 Glue and BIM 360 Field alongside Revit (and tools like Navisworks, 3ds Max and Stingray)—to streamline communication and centralize project information.

By making Autodesk BIM 360 the backbone of projects, HFB centralized safety checklists, inspections, material checks and supplier administration, enabled clash detection and quantity take‑offs, and increased transparency so teams could spot bottlenecks and track schedule and budget more effectively. The solution helped deliver complex work such as Project Summertime, boosted efficiency and business wins, and contributed to HFB being named Best BIM Office and recognized as an industry leader in applying BIM across diverse project types.
