Hermanson Automates and Connects Fabrication Process with Autodesk Build

Hermanson Company, a 500–1,000‑person MEP specialty contractor based in Kent, WA, faced information loss and miscommunication as teams toggled between PlanGrid, BIM 360, STRATUS and other tools. To centralize project data and standardize workflows they evaluated solutions and chose Autodesk Build within Autodesk Construction Cloud for its STRATUS integration, partnering with vendor Autodesk BIM 360 to connect design, fabrication and field teams.

Autodesk BIM 360 implemented Autodesk Build integrated with STRATUS so Revit detailer updates push instantly to the shop and field teams have mobile access to live models, RFIs, submittals and standardized checklists. The result was greater transparency, fewer mistakes and rework, faster RFI resolution (avoiding errors that can cost thousands), time and cost savings, and streamlined daily reporting—allowing Hermanson to work more consistently and confidently across projects.
