A Autodesk BIM 360 Case Study
Lee Kennedy Co. Inc. (LKCo) needed a more seamless way to coordinate with MEP subcontractors and the architect on the US$53 million Ruth Mulan Chu Chao Center at Harvard Business School. Before adopting Autodesk BIM 360’s BIM 360 Glue, LKCo’s teams relied on Navisworks and FTP reuploads, which caused file-management headaches and made it difficult to communicate exact model locations across stakeholders.
By deploying Autodesk BIM 360’s cloud-based BIM 360 Glue, subcontractors can overwrite current model files, trigger email alerts for updates, mark up clashes, and access merged models on iPads in the field—even offline. The result: dramatically reduced time spent on file management, faster clash resolution (teams can see resolved clashes immediately without downloads), and improved on-site verification, helping LKCo solve coordination issues more quickly and keep the Chao Center on schedule.
