Architects Deliver New Munch Museum with BIM Collaboration

LPO Arkitekter faced the challenge of delivering the complex new Munch Museum while coordinating across offices 2,600 km apart, using inconsistent BIM workflows and a VPN-based file-sharing setup that caused delays and lost model data. To solve this, they turned to Autodesk BIM 360—specifically BIM 360 Team and Collaboration for Revit—to support cross-border BIM collaboration and live model co-authoring.

Autodesk BIM 360’s cloud platform enabled multi-user co-authoring, web- and mobile access, and on-site model viewing and markups, eliminating the VPN bottleneck and reducing the need for international travel. The result was faster design cycles, fewer coordination errors and rework, expanded stakeholder participation through live-synced models, and measurable time savings from reduced travel and improved real‑time collaboration.
