Ben builds his own tools without waiting on engineering

KOTN, led by founder and Chief Digital Officer Ben Sehl, needed a faster way to manage growing day-to-day workloads as the company scaled. With limited time and no desire to wait on engineering, Ben turned to Autocode’s flexible scripting environment to build internal tools and automate recurring tasks.

Using Autocode, Ben created an automated daily standup and task tracker that pinged team members in Slack and stored responses in Airtable, along with additional productivity automations tied to Google Calendar, Height, and the Open Weather API. The result was a centralized, repeatable workflow that kept KOTN’s remote team aligned and gave Ben the ability to quickly ship custom automations without a full engineering team.
