Mainline PH Salford, a taxi firm in Greater Manchester, was looking for a way to improve profits, reduce overheads, and handle more calls during busy periods without adding extra strain on operators. The company worked with Autocab and its Phantom phone system, including integrated IVR, call recording, and resilient dual-server backup.

Autocab’s Phantom helped Mainline PH Salford increase the share of bookings made through self-service IVR to 36.2%, which contributed to around 7,000 additional bookings per week and a 25% overall rise in bookings to about 35,000 weekly. By freeing up phone lines, catching missed calls, and improving repeat bookings, Autocab also helped reduce operator workload and support future fleet growth while lowering the need for additional staff.
