Huddersfield Taxis, an Autocab customer for over six years, wanted to revitalise the business and move beyond its existing systems. Owner Mohammed Alyas aimed to build “the biggest and best firm” in Huddersfield, while also improving booking efficiency and keeping up with modern private hire technology such as app-based and automated bookings.

Autocab provided Ghost dispatch software, the booking app, and Phantom IVR to help Huddersfield Taxis modernise operations, capture more bookings, and reduce overheads. The new tools streamlined administration, improved access to accounts and invoices, and freed up phone lines for more calls; Autocab also noted that around 30% of bookings through automated channels can reduce the need for additional operators, supporting lower staffing costs.
