SuperOlive Featured in the First Authorize.Net Pop-Up Shop, Providing an In-Person Retail Experience

SuperOlive, an online retailer of artisan and imported olive oils, wanted to bring its e-commerce experience into a physical retail setting to build face-to-face customer relationships. To do this, SuperOlive joined the Visa Holiday Boutique pop-up hosted by Authorize.Net, using Authorize.Net’s secure payment gateway along with its mobile card reader and mobile app to accept payments in person.

Authorize.Net supported the activation by featuring SuperOlive as the first live merchant in its Pop-Up Shop and enabling on-site transactions through the mobile reader and app integrated with its gateway. The setup allowed owner Evangeline to take mobile payments, demonstrate and sample products to attendees, and convert visitors into new loyal customers—expanding SuperOlive’s reach beyond its online store and creating direct customer engagement.
