How Downtown Statesville Drove Revitalization Efforts

Downtown Statesville Development Corporation (DSDC) is a nonprofit that has led downtown revitalization in Statesville, NC since 1985. In 2016 DSDC sought an online ticketing and vendor-booth application system for its events and wanted to accept payments through local processor Yadkin Bank; Cashklick was engaged to build the solution and relied on Authorize.Net’s secure payment gateway and Virtual Point of Sale for payments.

Cashklick implemented an integrated events calendar, online ticket sales, vendor application and promotional newsletter features tied to Authorize.Net, allowing attendees to "buy now" and vendors to "apply now" and pay online. The result: DSDC’s first online event (a wine walk) sold out, several new events are being launched, and the organization successfully routed payments through Yadkin Bank—demonstrating Authorize.Net’s dependable gateway and measurable impact on local event revenue and engagement.
