Battlefy is a global online esports platform that helps organizers create and manage competitive gaming events. As its user base grew, Battlefy faced security and usability challenges from a home‑grown social login system and needed a cloud OAuth provider that could support Facebook, Twitter, Google, Twitch and VK, protect sensitive user data, and simplify the login experience.

After a proof of concept, Battlefy implemented Auth0 in under a month, quickly adding Google and VK and replacing password hashes in their database. Using Auth0’s dashboard, JWTs and customizable alerts improved account security and admin workflows, tied employee access to Google Apps, and freed engineering resources to focus on product innovation; Battlefy is now exploring further migration of profiles to Auth0 and offering “Log In with Battlefy” to partners.
