InnovaShoes, an online footwear retailer, needed to target a preorder campaign for a new line of men's running shoes to existing male customers aged 20–40 who show fitness interest, re-engage registered users who haven’t returned, and monitor Twitter sentiment about the brand. They decided the best time to collect the data was at registration and login, so identity and profile data would be the foundation of their marketing decisions.

Using Auth0 social logins and its "rules" engine, InnovaShoes enriches user profiles (via FullContact and social APIs), records authentication events (real-time or batched), and sends Twitter handles for sentiment analysis; the enriched data is streamed to their analytics or BI stack and surfaced in dashboards. The result: higher-quality, up-to-date emails and demographics, precise targeting of 20–40‑year‑old fitness-interested men, automated re‑engagement offers for inactive users, and proactive outreach on negative sentiment — all via a scalable, integrable identity-driven analytics workflow.
