Species360, a non-profit that supports more than 1,300 conservation institutions with its ZIMS platform, needed stronger identity and access management for its global conservation data. Its custom-built CIAM and single sign-on solution was no longer meeting maturing security standards, and the team wanted a trusted, quickly deployable option. Species360 turned to Auth0 for identity management as part of a broader platform modernization effort.

Auth0 implemented a more secure and flexible identity solution that allowed Species360 to offload platform security to experts instead of maintaining a parallel in-house system. This helped Species360 strengthen protection of its sensitive data while gaining the flexibility to grow and expand to new organizations.
