Young & Co.’s Brewery sought to replace its existing bank reconciliation system and streamline its finance team's processes. Chief Accountant Keith Wilson initiated a project to find a more powerful solution from a vendor, Aurum Solutions, that could also support future pub management needs, with goals of improving efficiency, reducing license costs, and eliminating repetitive manual tasks for his staff.

Aurum Solutions implemented its Automated Reconciliation Software, which was rapidly installed and embraced by the cashier team. The solution automated data loading, improved matching, and provided better reporting. It was then extended to manage pub returns and expense data. The results included strong reconciliation performance, easy exception handling, and a centralized system for KPI reporting. Keith Wilson noted the positive impact on the business and that the new skills gained by his team allowed them to develop and progress within the organization.
