Utah DOT, which manages $25 billion in capital projects across more than 6,000 miles of roadways, was seeking a modern way to improve construction management and project delivery. The agency needed better visibility, tighter control, stronger reporting, and lower costs, while replacing parts of its aging in-house PDBS system with a SaaS-based solution that could integrate with existing tools.

Aurigo implemented Aurigo Masterworks’ Capital Project Management Solution in a phased rollout, starting with field data collection and followed by contract, cost, and schedule management modules. Aurigo’s solution was selected over competitors and is expected to deliver about $19.5 million in annual savings for Utah DOT—up to $100 million over five years—by addressing six key improvement areas and enabling 550 users on the cloud.
