Tampa Bay Water - Customer Case Study

Tampa Bay Water, the Florida special district responsible for supplying safe water to 2.3 million citizens, needed a better way to manage its complex capital program. Its mix of Microsoft tools and an in-house database created duplicate data entry, reporting gaps, and tracking errors across up to 70 projects in its five-year CIP. The agency selected Aurigo Masterworks after an RFI and vendor demonstrations, looking for stronger reporting, cash flow analysis, document storage, and an integrated system.

Aurigo implemented Aurigo Masterworks in the cloud, including its Document Management module, along with integration to ArcGIS and mobile field access. The solution delivered hundreds of configurable standard reports, drill-down and drill-through visibility, and easier capture of project data and files from the field. As a result, Tampa Bay Water improved reporting and reduced manual effort and data entry errors while better managing its roughly $255 million capital improvement plan.
