Colorado DOT needed a more nimble, fully integrated way to manage its statewide program, project, and cash planning as it shifted from regional to statewide oversight, dealt with declining revenues, and adopted the RAMP initiative. Its existing mix of point solutions, including AASHTOWare Project, SAP, Excel, ProjectWise, and custom forecasting tools, was not meeting its needs for better control, integration, and reporting.

Aurigo was selected to implement Aurigo Masterworks as a cloud-based SaaS platform in a five-year, multi-million-dollar engagement. The solution will be rolled out in three phases over 14 months to support at least 625 users, improving visibility, resource scheduling, and reporting while complementing existing systems; Aurigo says the platform can drive cost savings of at least 5% across projects.
