Worldwide Silicon Company partnered with Auriga to overcome the challenge of developing and testing software before a real hardware prototype was available. The customer needed numerous device models and support for the Simics hardware simulation platform to enable early software validation and reduce dependence on physical hardware.

Auriga developed custom platform and peripheral device models for Simics, along with debug tools, system-level event support, and level 2/3 support services. This enabled software stacks to run on virtual platforms, accelerated platform build-out from CPU, memory, and other components, and significantly improved debugging through code reverse execution before hardware existed.
