Auriga worked with a US-based Embedded And RTOS Company that needed design, development, and ongoing maintenance of a secure virtualization platform for embedded, real-time, safety-critical, and security-critical solutions. The customer was looking for a robust product/service built around virtualization to support demanding embedded and RTOS environments.

Auriga delivered a small-footprint, bare-metal Type 1 hypervisor based on Qemu, with full and para-virtualization, device virtualization, packet filtering, multi-core support, and military-grade secure partitions. The solution included development and configuration tools for managing guest OS resources and scheduling, and it helped meet safety standards for DoD and avionics use while improving efficiency, non-intrusiveness, and support for embedded and desktop multi-core platforms.
