US Automotive Leader partnered with Auriga to add Bluetooth connectivity to its vehicle diagnostics environment. The challenge was to enable secure wireless access from diagnostic software to the vehicle’s CAN bus through a dedicated daemon on an ARM-based diagnostics device.

Auriga developed and implemented the Bluetooth solution, including the embedded connectivity daemon, device discovery and connection-stability algorithms, SSH encryption, and porting to custom ARM Linux. Auriga’s work added a third communication channel alongside serial and WiFi, improved secure and stable connection handling, and simplified service technician procedures and operations.
