Medical Device Manufacturing Company, a medical device manufacturer, needed a way to automate testing for a new patient monitoring solution, including a compact portable monitor and bedside workstation, under tight development schedules and without access to a firmware prototype. Auriga was brought in to develop a test toolkit system using a hardware-in-the-loop approach to support the patient workflow and accelerate validation.

Auriga built an automated test toolkit that emulated vital signals and user input, captured and imitated screen and knob-touch actions, and verified displays, labels, limits, icons, texts, alarms, and other objects. The solution included playback and auto-generated test reports, and Auriga achieved 100% automation of functional test cases, helping the customer streamline testing and meet schedule constraints.
