Telecom Solutions Provider, a vendor of components for modular systems based on PICMG standards, needed a way to support several custom-built telecom boards before the hardware was available. Auriga was brought in to develop a hardware emulator for board emulation and debugging.

Auriga delivered an affordable emulator solution using open-source technologies, with an I2C interface over Ethernet, virtual hardware integration with real hardware, and support for multiple emulated boards connected together. The setup became the primary debugging tool, included automated nightly builds and test frameworks, and helped speed time to market by enabling development to start before hardware availability.
