NA-based Telecommunications and Digital Media Carriers Solutions Provider hired Auriga to enhance its proprietary ringback tone (RBT) system so it could support multiple telecom carriers more effectively. The challenge was to improve the existing telecom service platform and add new features without requiring additional hardware.

Auriga customized and expanded the RBT system with a SIP player, schedule management, backend improvements, web and WAP smartphone interfaces, recurring payment automation, subscription management, and stronger security for payment data. The renewed system integrated with Sprint, Boost, MetroPCS, and other payment platforms, supported both older and newer carriers without new hardware, and was delivered in a two-month project using short sprints and demos.
