Leading Smart Infusion Pumps Development Company partnered with Auriga to R&D and design a fully functional prototype of a network connection module for smart infusion pumps used in high-paced hospital environments. The challenge was to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity while addressing software design and performance pitfalls.

Auriga analyzed the system architecture, ran CPU and file system speed tests, evaluated WiFi bandwidth and reliability, and tested FTP, UDP, and TCP performance, security scans, and pairing time. As a result, Auriga optimized the Linux kernel, reduced kernel and root filesystem footprint, significantly improved boot-up and patch update times, and eliminated dependence on a third-party closed-source library, while keeping the customer informed with early prototypes that demonstrated timing accuracy.
