Global Construction Company partnered with Auriga to research and develop an optical deviation detection system for monitoring the integrity of building structures in remote, seismic, and landslide-prone areas. The goal was to detect anchorage loosening in assets such as bridge pillars, tunnel constructions, and power line structures, where inspections are difficult and reliability is critical.

Auriga delivered a proof of concept combining customized optical markers, computer vision, machine learning, an Android app, and a cloud-based backend for image processing and measurement. The solution improved detection resolution to up to 0.5 mm, enabled use on drones or quadcopters for hard-to-reach locations, and produced a live demo in less than four months.
