Auriga worked with an EU-based mobile carrier and internet provider that needed a softphone application for corporate cellphone plans. The customer wanted a solution for audio/video calling and multi-point conferencing across desktop and web environments, using a telecom-grade product built with Qt and SIP/VoIP technologies.

Auriga developed VoIP softphone clients for macOS, Linux, Windows, and the web, adding video and audio calling, call holding, messaging, blacklists, and a custom UI. Auriga also handled manual performance, load, and usability testing. The result was a softphone with a distinctive feature that lets incoming calls from landline and mobile phones be received via an assigned landline number, while also enabling additional branding and advertising opportunities for the customer.
