Millennium bcp, a major international bank, faced the challenge of modernizing its extensive branch network in Portugal. The bank aimed to create a more customer-centric, efficient branch format for the future while offering 24/7 service. To achieve this, Millennium bcp partnered with vendor Auriga to implement its multi-vendor WinWebServer (WWS) software platform.

Auriga's solution enabled the deployment of new assisted self-service terminals (MTMs) and created a tightly integrated digital platform for the bank’s next-generation branches. This provided customers with flexible, 24/7 access to services, supported by remote video teller assistance. The results were highly positive, with Millennium bcp achieving a Net Promoter Score of 85% and the MTMs themselves receiving an average NPS of 92%. Notably, 24% of transactions were completed when the physical branch was closed, demonstrating the success of the always-available service model delivered by Auriga.
