Technical University of the North - Customer Case Study

The Technical University of the North, a public higher-education institute in Ecuador serving about 10,933 undergraduates and 221 postgraduates, faced inefficient academic, research, engagement and management processes—no virtual procedures for certificates, poor communication channels, excessive paper use, long delays and weak electronic security. To address these challenges the university selected AuraQuantic and its iBPMS platform to transform and automate critical workflows.

AuraQuantic implemented process automation that links the university’s SIIU reports, embeds electronic signatures and QR codes, and delivers digital registration, work and event certificates by email. The solution cut response times from days to seconds (work certificates in 5–7s), produced roughly 1,418 electronic registrations, enabled issuance of 5,471 certificates to date (4,053 from events), eliminated printing costs (examples: 1,000 printed vs electronic cost/time: $150–$200 & 16 hrs vs $0 & 5 hrs), and delivered major gains in paper reduction, cost savings, security and agility.
