EPM Group (Empresas Públicas de Medellín), a multi‑country public utilities group, faced fragmented support processes, duplicated work, multiple transactional platforms, slow manual reporting and inefficient onboarding of acquisitions. To unify and modernize shared services, they implemented AuraQuantic’s iBPMS/AuraQuantic platform to replace phone calls, paper and emails with a centralized digital self‑service and process‑management system.
AuraQuantic delivered a web-based, drag‑and‑drop process platform that automated workflows, enabled unified notifications and self‑management for internal and external users, and gave suppliers direct task assignment. The result was rapid, measurable impact: 80% reduction in travel management time, 84% improvement in compliance, 50% service cost reductions, a 61% increase in self‑management, internal travel processing cut from 10 to 2 business days and compliance rising from 24.41% to 83.88%—plus lower travel-related expenses and much less paper.
