Pasadena City College (PCC) turned to Augusoft’s Lumens to support its large, diverse continuing education and extension programs after its in‑house system (Ace) reached capacity and became labor intensive. PCC—serving more than 30,250 students and offering fee‑based PCC Extension classes—needed 24/7, user‑friendly online registration and a more scalable management solution.
Augusoft implemented Lumens to provide automated, around‑the‑clock registration, easy reporting, and streamlined operations; PCC went live on Lumens in January 2004 and has since managed more than 12,000 annual registrations across programs, generating roughly $850,000–$900,000 in gross revenue. The Lumens deployment reduced manual work, improved the customer registration experience, and fostered a long‑standing collaborative relationship between Pasadena City College and Augusoft.
