A Augusoft Case Study
Kerrville Club Ed, a longtime community education program that runs two semesters plus a summer children’s program and prints 70,000 catalogs annually, was burdened by paper-based registration and file tracking for more than 200 fall classes. To replace manual processes and enable online enrollment, Kerrville implemented Augusoft Lumens, a lifelong learning management system with an online catalog and shopping-cart style registration.
Augusoft’s Lumens centralized records, provided user-friendly online registration and reporting tools, and delivered responsive customer support. In the first term on Lumens Kerrville handled 769 registrations with no paper files, discarded an entire file drawer of forms, and saw about 25% of students enroll online; staff were ready for the spring 2005 semester before Thanksgiving. Lumens’ reports also revealed class demographics and profitability to guide programming, freeing staff time to develop new classes.
