Colgate-Palmolive Selects Augmentir to Accelerate Digitization in Manufacturing Operations

Colgate Palmolive’s Global Supply Chain team needed to accelerate digitization of equipment changeover and maintenance operations and integrate those processes with their SAP ERP and Wonderware MES. To meet this challenge they selected Augmentir and its AI-based Connected Worker Platform to provide augmented work instructions on tablets, mobile devices, or AR-enabled smart glasses.

Augmentir deployed a connected worker solution that let frontline teams build, maintain, and share localized digital content and guided workflows; within six months Colgate Palmolive created 1,060+ digital workflows across 10 plants, logged more than 16,500 workflow executions, and optimized 500+ procedures. The deployment delivered measurable gains—saving 10–30 minutes per shift, reducing maintenance execution time by up to 120 minutes between notification and order closure, and automatically capturing actual maintenance times in SAP PM for more accurate planning—while improving adoption and productivity.
