SEFT is a Turkish naval architecture firm that designs everything from small fishing boats to chemical tankers and naval vessels. Facing the common trade-show challenge of how to present oversized products, they needed a way to let visitors inspect large ships in a realistic, portable format.

They used Augment’s AR to overlay 3D scale models on top of printed brochures at events like SMM Hamburg; attendees scanned the brochures to view ships in place. The solution let more than 50,000 visitors in 2014 explore realistic models and better appreciate SEFT’s architecture and engineering capabilities.
