Puma Energy Caribe LLC builds a 4 million-bbl Bayamón terminal with Audubon

Puma Energy Caribe LLC required the engineering design and construction coordination for Phase I of a new 4 million barrel storage terminal in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. The project's scope included storage tanks, extensive pipeline connections, a truck loading facility, and fire protection systems. To meet this challenge, they engaged Audubon for its multidiscipline detail engineering design services.

Audubon successfully executed the design from its offices in Louisiana, closely coordinating with on-site contractors in Puerto Rico to maintain the project schedule. The solution designed by Audubon included three storage tanks, 18,000 feet of pipeline, and two major underground bores, connecting the storage facility to a marine terminal. This engineering work provided the foundation for the new terminal's infrastructure.
