Phillips 66 surveys 850-mile Gray Oak pipeline with Audubon

Phillips 66 required pipeline survey services for the construction of the massive Gray Oak crude oil pipeline system in Texas. To meet this challenge, they selected vendor Audubon to provide the necessary civil and as-built survey work to keep the project on schedule.

Audubon implemented a solution that included supplying certified plats, permits, and horizontal directional drill drawings for 423 miles of pipeline. Utilizing 40 two-person crews across four construction spreads, Audubon's services enabled Phillips 66 to confidently construct the 850-mile pipeline, which now transports up to 900,000 barrels of crude oil per day to the Texas Gulf Coast.
