An oil and gas operator sought to improve production from a depleted field through enhanced oil recovery (EOR) by utilizing captured carbon dioxide. The challenge involved creating a large-scale system to capture, process, transport, and reinject CO2. The operator selected Audubon to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services for this project.

Audubon provided a comprehensive solution, delivering conceptual design through detailed engineering for the entire carbon capture and reuse system. This included designing for the handling of supercritical CO2, compression, dehydration, pipeline transport, and final formation injection. As a result of Audubon's EPCM expertise, the oil and gas operator was able to successfully implement the system to improve field production, contributing to clean energy and reduced emissions.
