Noble Energy launches first Colorado LNG plant with Audubon’s 100,000 GPD facility

Noble Energy required the development of a major new greenfield gas processing facility, the Keota plant, which was to be the first LNG production facility in Colorado. To undertake this complex project, they engaged vendor Audubon to provide comprehensive EPCM (engineering, procurement, and construction management) services, fabrication, and commissioning.

Audubon delivered a complete solution that included detailed engineering, modular fabrication, and construction management for the 45 MMSCFD facility. The project encompassed cryogenic processing, amine treating, and compression, with a significant achievement being the design and installation of 8 megawatts of Taurus solar power generation as the primary power source. As a result, Audubon successfully delivered one of the largest gas processing facilities in the state for Noble Energy.
