LLog Exploration repurposes an FPS for 60,000 BOPD with Audubon

LLOG Exploration required engineering services for a floating production system in the Gulf of Mexico. The challenge was to repurpose an existing FPS unit to safely and efficiently tap new discoveries while meeting strict regulatory compliance. They hired Audubon for its integrated FPS engineering, design, and procurement services.

Audubon provided project management, front-end and detailed engineering, and construction support to refurbish the platform. The solution reused major components like the hull and topside truss while installing new processing equipment and systems. The resulting Salamanca FPS achieved a production capacity of 60,000 barrels of oil per day and 25 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, enabling LLOG to safely explore and produce energy.
