Freeport-McMoRan develops Pecan Island field with Audubon’s 6-mile pipeline and 48-ft caisson deck

Freeport-McMoRan required development services for its Pecan Island Field, including a new offshore caisson deck, pipeline, and separator installation. To meet this challenge, the company engaged vendor Audubon to provide comprehensive project and construction management.

Audubon delivered a full scope of project management, construction management, and inspection services for the installation of the 48-foot deck, heliport, and a new 6-mile pipeline. The team also handled procurement and cost-tracking for all project phases. The resulting facility was engineered to manage a flow of 15 million standard cubic feet of gas per day and 400 barrels of condensate.
