Chevron Pipe Line Co. engaged Audubon for pipeline survey and permitting on its Port Arthur Line Optimization (PALO) project. The challenge involved an 80-mile pipeline route in East Texas, requiring the removal and installation of pipelines, along with new valve and trap sites, which demanded precise surveying and extensive environmental and nonenvironmental permitting.

Audubon evaluated existing data, established benchmarks using leading technologies, and completed all necessary permitting. The solution included supplying as-built survey data, alignment sheets, and over 90 horizontal directional drill drawings. Audubon's precise data management ensured material traceability, enabling confident construction and startup for Chevron’s project.
