Air Liquide ensures integrity for 7 miles of pipeline with Audubon

Air Liquide, a global industrial gases company, required an external corrosion direct assessment for its P5 natural gas pipeline in Corpus Christi, Texas, to ensure compliance with PHMSA regulatory specifications under 49 CFR Part 192. The challenge was particularly complex as other inspection methods had proven unfeasible for the 7-mile pipeline section. Air Liquide contracted the vendor Audubon to perform this critical integrity management work.

Audubon provided a turnkey ECDA solution, which included a feasibility analysis, indirect inspection surveys, direct examinations, and repair design. The vendor also offered comprehensive project and construction management services, coordinating with contractors and managing logistics. As a result of Audubon's work, Air Liquide's pipeline integrity was ensured, allowing the customer to reliably flow natural gas from its offshore production facilities while meeting all regulatory requirements.
