A natural gas power plant operator sought to retrofit its 300-MW facility with a carbon capture system. The challenge was to design a solution that would capture emissions and clean the CO2 to a pipeline-quality product. The operator selected Audubon for its engineering and project management services to accomplish this.

Audubon conducted a FEED study, evaluated capture technologies, and selected a 20,000-HP compressor for CO2 transmission. The solution implemented by Audubon successfully captures 1.1 million metric tons of CO2 per annum, significantly reducing plant emissions and creating a marketable product.
