Audubon was engaged by a large midstream company to provide automation and controls for the expansion of a 200 MMSCFD cryogenic expander plant in the Marcellus Shale. The challenge involved managing the full scope of instrumentation, electrical engineering, and control system integration for the new facility, which needed to be incorporated into an actively producing plant.

Audubon successfully executed the solution as the main automation contractor, responsible for the Yokogawa CENTUM VP DCS and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix SIS logic development. Their comprehensive scope included all programming, communications, and the design of a custom remote instrument enclosure. Audubon also provided commissioning and field startup support, ensuring the new plant was successfully integrated on schedule.
