Pandastorm Pictures, a publisher of high-quality films and series in German-speaking Europe, faced a significant challenge when dubbing the 1960s Doctor Who series. Their only audio source was a single track containing mixed English dialogue, music, and sound effects, making a clean German dub impossible without costly and time-intensive manual work. They turned to the AI technology from vendor AudioShake to find a solution.

AudioShake's AI service separated the original audio into its individual stems for dialogue, music, and sound effects. This allowed Pandastorm to cleanly remove the English dialogue and use the isolated music and effects track as a foundation for the new German dubbing. Using this solution, the studio successfully produced the German version of "The Ark in Space" and is currently working on "Genesis of the Daleks," enabling the release of this classic content for its 60th anniversary.
