Ortana Media Group automates archive audio at scale with AudioShake’s 170+ integrations

Ortana Media Group, a UK-based technology company specializing in media workflow solutions, faced the challenge of automating audio processing for broadcasters and archive owners. Their customers held vast libraries of content where dialogue was buried in mixes, music rights were unclear, and metadata was sparse; they needed to move this content through audio processing without manual handoffs, recover clean dialogue, flag music usage, and apply these changes at scale. To address this, they turned to vendor AudioShake.

AudioShake was integrated into Ortana's Cubix platform and its Media Aware Workflow Engine. This solution automatically orchestrates content into AudioShake for audio separation and lyric transcription, then routes the resulting stems and metadata back into the customer's ecosystem. For Ortana's customers, this moved archive audio processing from an ad-hoc task to a repeatable, automated step in the pipeline, enabling workflows like dialogue isolation for localization and compliance and explicit content tagging at the volume their archives require.
