Case Study: Cherry Red Records lands a Netflix trailer sync with AudioShake

Indie label lands Netflix trailer

Cherry Red Records, an independent record label with a deep catalog of music, was approached by a music supervisor for the Netflix show "Mixtape" to use the song "Going Nowhere Fast" by Girls At Our Best. The initial sync deal for the full song was secured, but a new challenge arose when the request was expanded to include an instrumental version for the show's trailer. Without access to the original multitrack masters, the label was unable to fulfill this request using traditional methods, threatening to halt the trailer deal.
