Sugarhill Gang, the iconic hip hop group behind “Rapper’s Delight,” wanted to expand their reach and introduce new music to new audiences in an increasingly crowded digital landscape. To help cut through the noise, they worked with AudioMob using its in-game audio ad solution.

AudioMob promoted Sugarhill Gang’s January 2021 single “La La Song” with Audio Enhanced Banners, combining audio with a small visual banner inside mobile games. The campaign delivered strong results, including a 2.13% average CTR, a 2,662.5% lift over the 0.08% benchmark for traditional non-audio banners, and a best-performing inventory CTR of 5.37% with a 6,712.5% increase.
