A AudienceView Case Study
The Tuacahn Center for the Arts, a non-profit venue, faced a challenge common among arts organizations: attracting and retaining an audience of tourists and locals who were parents of young children. Due to its policy of not allowing children under three and the difficulty for visitors to find local childcare, a significant barrier to attendance existed. They partnered with AudienceView for their integrated e-commerce and ticketing platform to help address this.
Tuacahn, using AudienceView's tools, implemented an innovative on-site childcare solution called ShowCare. For a modest fee, parents could reserve a spot for their child through the same ticketing system used to buy show seats, creating a seamless patron experience. This solution, which turned a common barrier into an opportunity, led to significant audience growth and increased revenue by enabling more parents to attend shows. The program's success was so substantial that it inspired a new, year-round childcare service.
