Arden Theatre Company, a full-service professional regional theatre in Philadelphia, needed to boost subscriptions for its children’s series after most patrons bought only single-event tickets and Millennial parents were reluctant to commit. To address this, Arden partnered with AudienceView and used AudienceView Unlimited to create a more attractive multi-show offering.
Using AudienceView Unlimited, Arden ran a 72-hour buy-one-get-one (BOGO) subscription sale promoted via postcards to past patrons and outreach to local parent-focused organizations. The campaign produced the largest subscription on-sale in Arden’s history, generating $25,000 in ticket sales in the first 24 hours and $50,000 over 72 hours, while offering a 50% effective discount versus the usual 40% subscription discount. AudienceView’s platform and the theatre’s website functionality were credited with enabling the promotion’s success.
