Petronas worked with Aucerna after its existing petroleum economic evaluation tool, Merak’s Peep, no longer met its needs. The company wanted a modern portfolio planning solution that would be scalable, robust, and extensible, so it evaluated Aucerna’s PlanningSpace through a two-month proof of concept.

Aucerna’s PlanningSpace, including Dataflow, Economics, and Portfolio, was selected to replace the legacy system. The solution delivered more accurate calculations, better performance, additional functionality, and improved integration for end-to-end portfolio planning, while also increasing planning efficiency and reducing time and labor costs.
