Tangerine gains insights from customer data thanks to Attunity and Microsoft

Tangerine Bank, a Canadian direct bank with nearly two million clients, needed faster access to customer data to keep up with intense online banking competition and respond to feedback, complaints, and social sentiment in real time. To support its move toward a more full-service digital bank, it turned to Attunity and Microsoft, using Attunity Replicate with Microsoft Analytics Platform System (APS) as part of a new analytics environment.

Attunity helped Tangerine move data from its existing warehouse into APS, enabling a centralized BI platform for faster analysis with tools like Excel, SQL Server Analysis Services, Power BI for Office 365, and SharePoint. The result was quicker access to usable data, allowing employees to make on-the-fly decisions about product rollouts and campaigns, and giving Tangerine a historical, drill-down view of sentiment data to generate better features and initiatives.
